Saturn tends to come up in two situations. The first is a design-led renovation, where the owner or interior designer has chosen Saturn for its look and wants it consistent through the house. The second is a home that already has Saturn fittings and needs more, or needs a few replaced after damage, and the owner wants them to match.
Matching is where some care is needed. Designer ranges are updated over time, colours and finishes come and go, and a replacement may look slightly different from a fitting installed years ago. Before we order or fit anything, we compare what's on the wall with what's currently available, so you know what to expect.

Start with the functions you need at each position: plain switches, dimmers, power points, USB outlets, TV or data. Then confirm the finish and that every function you need is available in it. It's frustrating to find the colour you love doesn't come in the dimmer you need, so we check this with you at quote stage.
Designer fittings are sometimes bulkier than basic ones, and many Inner West homes have solid brick internal walls with shallow switch boxes. That can mean chasing the box deeper or fitting a new mounting block. If your lights are LED, the dimmer choice also has to suit the lamps or drivers, the same as any other range.

1. Walk-through. We go room by room, note each position and function, and confirm the finish you've chosen covers everything.
2. Written quote. Covers fittings (if we supply them), labour, any wall or mounting work and any wiring found to need attention.
3. Installation. Circuits isolated, existing fittings removed, Saturn mechanisms wired, levelled and fixed. We protect paintwork and clean up.
4. Test and check. Each fitting checked for operation, polarity and earthing; dimmers trialled with your lights. A CCEW is provided where required.
Finishes vary between production runs or have been updated. We show you the new part before fitting a whole set.
