Good to know before you call.

Do I need a dedicated circuit for an EV charger?

Yes. A home charger runs for hours at high power, so it should be on its own circuit, protected and installed by a licensed electrician.

How fast will my car charge at home?

It depends on the charger, your car and your supply. Home chargers are commonly up to around 7 kW on single-phase, with faster options on three-phase.

Can you install a charger I've already bought?

Usually, yes. Tell us the make and model of your car and the charger and we'll confirm it's suitable.

Do you load-test my switchboard first?

Yes. We check your switchboard and supply so the charger doesn't overload your home.

Can you install a charger in a strata building?

Possibly. Shared garages usually need approval from the owners corporation. Call us and we'll talk you through the process.
