Concord is a leafy City of Canada Bay suburb of wide streets and family homes on generous blocks. Majors Bay Road is the local dining and shopping strip, Concord Road runs along the western side, and Concord Oval and Queen Elizabeth Park are the main open spaces, with the Parramatta River bays and Cabarita Park just to the north. Much of the housing is Federation and interwar, including many Californian bungalows with deep verandahs, mixed with newer homes built where older houses have been replaced.
