Eufy, from Anker, makes battery and solar cameras, video doorbells and floodlight cameras, many designed to store footage locally on a HomeBase or the device itself. We mount, power and set them up across the Inner West and Sydney.

A big part of Eufy's appeal is local storage. Many Eufy cameras pair with a HomeBase that sits inside near the router and stores clips, or record to built-in storage, so you're less reliant on a cloud plan. Check the specific model, though: storage and features differ across the range, and Eufy offers optional cloud services too.
Like other battery camera brands, Eufy looks fully DIY, and plenty of it is. The jobs we get involve getting cameras up high and secure on brick or weatherboard, wiring floodlight cameras to mains power, supplying wired doorbells, and fixing Wi-Fi so cameras actually stay connected.
Blue Link Electrical is based in Hurlstone Park. We hold NSW Security Licence S00014414, required for camera installation in NSW, and Electrical Contractor Licence 332956C for the wiring side.
Eufy's battery cameras run for long stretches between charges in quiet positions but drain faster at busy entries. Several models can use a solar panel; others can be plugged in. For a front door or driveway, a permanently powered option, or solar where there's real sun, saves regular charging trips up a ladder.
Floodlight cameras combine bright lighting with a camera and are connected to 240V, so they're an electrician's job. Wired doorbells need a supply that matches the manual. Some Eufy doorbells come in battery versions that need no wiring at all. Read the product's installation guide before buying, or send it to us and we'll tell you what's involved.
Indoors near the router, with a power point. Cameras need to be within range of it, so the HomeBase position matters.
Floodlight cameras connect to a lighting circuit or new circuit with proper isolation and weatherproofing.
Wired doorbells need the correct low-voltage supply, installed by a licensed electrician where 240V work is involved.
Solar panels need direct sun for much of the day. North-facing spots usually work best in Sydney.
Cover your own property. NSW has surveillance laws, so we avoid views into neighbours' yards or windows.
Walk-through. We check Wi-Fi and HomeBase range at each planned spot, find circuits for floodlights and check doorbell wiring.
Electrical work. We install supplies, outdoor power or floodlight connections, then mount cameras and doorbells securely.
Eufy app setup. We help pair devices with the HomeBase and the eufy Security app, set detection zones and test alerts.
Final test. Mains work is tested to AS/NZS 3000 and certified where required. We check each camera's view with you before leaving.
Usually distance from the HomeBase or router. Moving the base or adding Wi-Fi coverage helps.
Check the switchboard and wall switch. If the circuit keeps tripping, it needs testing.
Shade, dirt on the panel or a poor angle. Repositioning usually fixes it.
The supply may not meet the doorbell's requirements. We test and correct it.
Many store footage locally, so a subscription isn't always needed. Check the model's documentation; optional cloud services are available.
No. It connects to 240V, so in NSW it must be installed by a licensed electrician.
Indoors, near the router and central to the cameras. Thick walls reduce range.
