Homebush West is a compact suburb on the western side of Strathfield, best known for the Sydney Markets at Flemington. Around the markets you will find warehouses and trade businesses; further in, the streets hold inter-war and post-war houses, rows of walk-up units and newer apartment blocks along the main roads.
